Mission planning
Mission planning connects operator intent to validated execution. HawkWorks classifies a natural-language request or alert, routes it to a specialized agent, and sequences the tools needed to act. Constraint checks, tiered confirmation, and failsafe handoff sit alongside the planning process, rather than after commands are issued.
How it connects
- Instruction or alert
- Classify intent
- Select an agent
- Sequence tools
- Validate constraints
- Issue commands
Match the request to an agent
Planning begins with a natural-language instruction or an alert trigger. Intent classification identifies the task type and relevant entities, then routes the request to a specialized agent. The orchestrator includes Chat, Reasoning, Vision, Safety, and Navigation Agents. Model routing pairs simpler commands with lighter models and more complex planning with models suited to advanced reasoning.
Sequence tools around dependencies
Agents connect management, telemetry, media, mission, and control tools through a structured protocol bridge. Mission tools cover creating, reading, updating, and deleting mission records; control tools issue commands to the system fleet. Multi-step reasoning arranges these actions in sequence and resolves their dependencies, connecting the original request to the operations needed to carry it out.
Validate commands and retain a handoff
Constraint and boundary checks precede execution, with tiered confirmation for safety-critical commands. Provider health checks, failover, state transfer, and an emergency abort path support handoff. Safety assessment brings together visibility, wind, precipitation, temperature, and compound risks when several factors are marginal. Battery endurance modeling accounts for temperature, reserve capacity, and payload; wind modeling also considers altitude and terrain roughness.
